Argentina top

In the last decade, Mendoza's wine producers have set out to prove that their wines can stand with the best in the world. Their success can be attributed to the area's desert climate, high altitude vine farming, and rocky clay soil.

Argentina represents the best quality to price ratio in bulk wines at this time. Mendoza is enjoying an influx of interest in its wines and also some of the best vintages in recent years. With currency at a low, the result is great quality at low prices.
Argentina's top red varietals include Syrah, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. In these wines, you can expect deep opaque color, great fruit on the nose and palate, excellent tannin structure, and a long finish.
Bonarda is another popular and prolific red varietal out of Argentina. It has big body and structure, possessing deep color and lots of juicy fruit.
A dry white blend from Argentina (usually Torrontes/Chenin Blanc) is a relatively inexpensive white wine option, with great aromatics and crisp acidity.
Chile offers excellent quality/price wines, particularly with Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The Wine Company sources these wines from several regions in Chile, including Casablanca Valley, viewed as the source of Chile's best white wines.

Located between Santiago and Valparaiso on the central coast of Chile, Casablanca Valley is known for growing white wine grapes with a great balance of sugar and acid, similar to the grapes found in the Carneros region of California.
