The Wine Company Ltd. was founded in Canada in 1991 and opened US operations in 1996. We have associate offices in St. Catharines, San Francisco, Des Moines, Chile and Argentina. Over 12 million liters of bulk wine have been shipped and over $12 million in transactions has been generated from Argentina, Chile, South Africa, France, Australia, Slovenia, Macedonia and Hungary.

The Canadian operation focuses on bulk wine. The US operation is largely focused on brand development and custom blends for buyers' own brands. The Francesca wine pump is available in Canada and the US.

The Wine Company is currently sourcing bulk wine extensively from Argentina, Chile and South Africa - countries we feel offer the best quality/price ratios for bulk wine and custom blends.

The Wine Company is the exclusive US and Canadian agent for the new Francesca rotary piston pump made in Italy by famed engineer Roberto Manzini. This revolutionary pump is completely gentle to wines while transferring from barrel to barrel, yet powerful enough to pump grapes. It is the most unique wine pump in the market.

We own world marketing rights to the Romance line of wines. Romance red and white blends are developed with a well-respected winery in the Mendoza region of Argentina. Romance wines are young, pleasant new-world wines already enjoying successful distribution in the US and Canada.

The Wine Company, USA, is managed by Brian Kinsella, founder and CEO. Brian has traveled extensively throughout the wine world and has been a respected consultant, broker, educator and director since 1991. Brian holds a Higher Certificate from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, the UK-based leading provider of vocational training for the international wine and spirit trade.

The Wine Company, Canada, is headquartered in the Niagara region and managed by Erica Kinsella. Erica has worked in the wine business in Canada and the US since 1995, and holds a Higher Certificate from the UK-based Wine & Spirit Education Trust.

Marketing is managed by Erin Kinsella in our California office. Erin has worked in marketing, advertising and web design since 1995.
